Dear Steve: this letter is to inform you, and all those with whom you share this letter, how pleased Chad & I were with the work you performed for us. As you may recall, we originally retained your services to inspect a particular home. Upon your inspection, however, we decided not to purchase the home.
As you discovered during the inspection, the home's master bedroom addition had been improperly constructed and was experiencing severe termite and mold infestation. you learned the master bedroom was experiencing these problems by entering a crawl space sufficently small enough to cause any reasonable person to suffer an attack of claustrophobia! You, however, felt that it was extremely important to investigate all areas of the home for potential problems, and this diligence saved Chad & I a bundle of money. Most inspectors, whether general home or termite, would not have bothered to search under such a small crawl space. Thus, if it wasn't for you , we would not have known about the infestation until it was too late.
In addition, you did a wonderful job with the inspection of the home we are in the process of buying. After we terminated the contract on the termite infested home, we found another home we loved. You performed the inspection again, and we received very valuable information om all facets of this home. You provided us with more than a simple statement like "your home is in good shape;" rather, you took time to educate us on the inner workings of our appliances, the structure of our home and more.
I would recommend, without question, that all homebuyers retain your services. The fee you charge is well-deserved, and any homebuyer can receive the satisfaction of knowing that a very knowledgeable and diligent inspector has thoroughly evaluated the merits of their home.
